The "918" stamp on the back of the top button is a rare mark of the Puerto Rico factory, which produced jeans for the American market in the 80s and 90s.
Compared to the USA-made 517s from the same era, the number in circulation is small, and it is secretly popular among collectors.
The way the wear appears, the fading, and the blue color are more beautiful than the usual USA-made ones.
This pair is packed with the appeal of vintage denim, such as the small e orange tab and the YKK zip typical of the time.
The slightly flared boot-cut silhouette, characteristic of the 517, is also still present.
